Astronomy and Coins

Im pretty active in amateur astronomy. Ive got 3 scopes. Love space stuff. Love coins.
My question, does anybody have any coins like below? Im interested in getting some, but concerned on how the design is implemented into the coin. How does it look in hand? Is it a decal, painted on, laser etched? Any other comments about these type of coins is welcome.
Im not concerned about resale value, they would just be for me to admire.

If I have tracked this one down correctly, then it is Mint of Poland. I would verify this.
I tried to send the web link but got the deadly will appear after approval. So below is the link broken. I put two spaces after the https://

There's a lot of NCLT out there, made various ways. A lot of the "traditionalists" around here turn their snoots up at it, but it's fun and pretty.
I was weak and just purchased these 2 like 5 minutes ago
I hope they look good in hand. Ill let you know.

If you are big into astronomy and like coins (which appears to be the case!) then you may want to check out the Augustus Saint Gaudens National Historic Site in September or October as they have been hosting one night each year when the park is left open after dark and telescopes are brought in for folks to look up at the night sky. I have attended this numerous times and it is a blast.

Some coins with Horsehead or Crab nebulae might prove interesting.
Ill look into it...thanks

I seem to remember seeing coins or medals with a small piece of a meteorite embedded in the surface as part of the design. Looked pretty neat.

@PerryHall ... I do recall reading about a coin with a piece of meteorite in it... Was not able to find a source at the time. I wanted to get one of those. Cheers, RickO
