1900 Barber Half GTG *grade revealed*

I have the below and was wondering what the consensus was of the members here on the grade. Pics to the best of my ability.
2nd set taken as requested. Camera seems to really pick up the scratches on the plastic.
I'll let this run a day or two before revealing the actual grade.

MS 64+ Very nice coin
Commems and Early Type
The obverse photo seems to show some rub on the cheek, but the reverse looks pristine. Likely technically a 58. But guessing NGC gave it a bump for the nice eye appeal.
62 is my guess based on what I can see, but wouldn’t be shocked if it was higher.
I really like that coin!
Beautiful surfaces, I'm not adept at seeing rub from pics, so I'll go MS65
Something wrong with those pictures; can you post better photos?
I think it's an AU58, but have seen apparently similar coins graded MS62.

2nd set posted but not sure if they are any better.

The photos aren't that bad honestly. High graded Barbers are SO hard to grade correctly, but knowing it's an NGC plastic, I will take a stab and say MS64 with a star.

Love the look of this half. MS62?
Dave
A very decent looking MS62. The high points seem to have picked up some light friction, possibly from clear album slides rubbing across the coin.

Nice eye appeal regardless of grade. The luster looks very good. The toning looks original. A few marks, but nothing very distracting. If there is high point rub, it is very slight.....Tough one....I could go 58+, or 63+/64. Overall, it's a pretty Barber half!!!
I don't see that as an AU, at all ... in fact it looks like it would garner a Choice Unc grade, so I'm in with the 64 crowd (oh, wait, am I alone?!).
Nice Half!

Beautiful Barber. No wear and full luster. Nice toning. Some slide marks on the cheek from an album keep it from 65...NGC 64.
Newbe goes with a 64.
64 with that splash of color along the rim area.

I'm seeing some slide marks or hairlines which would hold the coin back into the lower MS grades, otherwise looks like a gem.
Overall a nice coin. MS-63
I’ll go MS64.
Coin Photographer.
I'm going to guess MS65. From what I have learned, nowadays eye appeal factors into grade and this coin has it.
I'm reluctant to go against Tom's eye as he called it AU. Pictures can definitely be misleading but I will stick with Mt guess.

64 Very nice!
That coin looks like an MS63 to me.... Cheers, RickO
58+
Belongs in a 64 holder at the minimum, nice piece.
Grade revealed above and here. Appreciate the input from everyone. Grades were all over the map from AU-58 up to MS-65 with the majority appearing to be in the 63/64 range. I personally thought it would warrant a 64 but some of the more educated eyes here spotted things I had not. Not sure if it would upgrade or cross to our sponsor, or even CAC for that matter. Looking at the guide prices, not even sure it's worth a shot unless it could hit 65 which I now highly doubt. Thanks again for the input and the education.

Very nice coin!
Really nice coin. Keeper.
I thought I was a little harsh at 63 so 62 is a surprise. I see no major distracting marks that knocked it down to a 62. The eye appeal with toning is high in my opinion, better than the typical 62 I see. The difference in price between 62 and 63 may not warrant the expense of crossing it but unless there is something I'm not seeing in the photo the eye appeal would is high for a 62 coin.
I think is a splendid example of an AU62….. a coin that is technically an AU, but with eye appeal equal or superior to most lower-end MS examples. Like it or hate it, strict criteria concerning “rub” is no longer part of the graders rule book.
@pmh1nic: I think @TomB’s post explains the eye appeal conundrum.
I am used to seeing MS-62 Morgan’s that look like they were blasted with a shotgun, so this being a 62 even with the slight rub mentioned by others baffles me.

Tks for reveal. It’s really nice.
Late to the game, but my first thought was NGC 62. But that coin should be graded 58+.
Tom
Wondering if it is hairlined to get that 62 grade. Seems like the kind of coin I've seen them do that with.
