They can be addicting. I have a few and am always looking for a nice one to add to my collection.
Love that obverse scribe line on the 1830!!! Never seen one that pronounced before.
I primarily focus on the silver denominations, but here is a nifty 1807 with an almost 180 die rotation. Common for the variety but cool nonetheless.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
This is a recent purchase for me. It is my first New Jersey Copper, so I’m still learning. I don’t really know how to grade a variety that is missing detail, even in higher grades. There is another example of my 1787 Outlined Shield variety on eBay that is graded PCGS AU 55 that is on my wishlist. Mine is raw, but my guess is F12. I keep it in an Air-Tite holder and I study it almost every day.

Here's a decent one. MS64BN, small date variety. Pretty coin in person, with a lovely bluish luster.

Billjones, reminds me of chocolate and caramel. Beautiful coins
