Thanks for getting the correct orthography!
    Edit: no, it’s Wisky

  • @jmlanzaf. Not trying to be argumentative, just simply trying to keep an open mind about it.

Granted, the pictures I posted with were taken under a normal daylight colored bedroom light, however under an LED, I think you’ll see that there is no golden color to it.

You asked me to find proof of it possibly being something unique, and I gave you the only proof I could find of something that resembles what I’ve got.

100 or 1,000 or even 10,000 experienced numismatists could’ve all said the same thing, but that would tell me some very disappointing things about how information is presented by those being challenged. Firstly, that no one was willing to go against the heard because it’s frowned upon to have a different perspective, and secondly, that no one is willing to admit they could’ve been wrong. Again, it’s not unreasonable to think that even experts can be wrong from time to time. No one is 100% correct 100% of the time, no matter how much experience or how many years they have invested in this whether it’s a hobby or a business.

I will send it to PCGS to be slabbed, and whether or not it is an accidental transition piece, I will post my findings.

Sorry, I still see a hint of gold. And your edge photos aren't right for a Cu-Ni clad.

But again, just send it in. Your mind is clearly made up, despite all arguments and evidence to the contrary. I've seen dozens of dollar coins with a silvery hue. Manganese is very chemically labile.

Send it in. Our hosts appreciate the business. It's $60 to make $1000. There is no profit in continuing to argue.

I'll make it even easier. If it comes back as anything but a normal Sac, I'LL PAY THE SUBMISSION FEES.

@WiskyTangoFoxtrot I would take him up on that offer! B)
