This is much nicer than your 1950 set. I like all of the coins.
As for me, I'm "flat pack and let it stay there" type of collector for the 1955 to '64 sets. My set will not have much toning.
As for 1957, it was an interesting year for my father's automobile. That was the last year the Nash sedan was made, and my father was a Nash / American Motors fan. He bought the last issue of the Ambassador which was the big Nash car. It was an Ambassador Super, which had a little less trim.
The car's downfall was its automatic transmission. It lasted for over 120,000 miles which quit good for those days. It had a 324 cubic inch engine, and from the comments made by the young guys who worked for my father, it could "fill" the 120 MPH that was on the speedometer.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
@SanctionII... Very nice set... And strangely enough, I just got a 1957 cent in change last week. Does not look anything like yours though Cheers, RickO

Nice ones ... very balanced in the toning.

Beautiful set! Hope to find one like that someday as it's my birthyear (and a very good year!)
