@drddm Hey Dave, seems to me you have another special E/A ... B)

You should show it. @jayPem Jordy might come unhinged! :D:D:D

    Here's mine. AU50cac

    Nice AU50, Todd!

All I have right now are my O.108 prime 45 and O.108a 63+ already shown in this thread.

Which other E/A are you referring to?

That is VERY cool. Is there a story behind it at all?

    Thanks @Pnies20

Well, the E/A happens to be my favorite die marriage, and while at a show once I saw a friend of mine who had a very cool ring made from a pre-turban half dollar. So I decided to find a details E/A that didn’t have any distracting marks anywhere along with full dentils just above the word STATES. It wasn’t as easy as you might think to find one that was in decent condition with enough details of the coin still visible AND at a reasonable price. But I eventually found one and sent it to a guy who makes rings out of coins and voila!

    Definitely a cool conversation piece!

@drddm That is a sweet ring!! Sort of hurts to see a coin like that, but you probably have the only 1814 E/A ring in exisitence.

@habaraca That is an AWESOME coin!! I am very fond of bust half errors, and although minor, yours is very attractive for a slight off center! Wowza!

@jacrispies, maybe you've seen Henry Hilgard's collection of bust half errors. They're fantastic.

I did see that! Quite a sight to see, I ran through every image a couple of times. I hope I can match his collection one day, although unlikely with some of those off centers.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
