Unlike the others this one is a semi-recent purchase. I saw it and just liked the black holder combined with the nickels. Thought it would look good on one of the old stuff / junk shelves and so I bought it (Oh, and it does look good there). I noticed the 1943 not so good but have not made it out to somewhere yet to replace it. Looks fine on the shelf but I know it it there.

@lilolme I don't know, but always assumed Harris is the name of the manufacturer. Old memory but may be incorrect as time seems to fade a lot of stuff!
Registry: CC lowballs (boblindstrom), bobinvegas1989@yahoo.com
Also not expensive:
San Francisco Mint medal struck in 1978 at the Philadelphia Mint with no Mint mark. Mintage 2,318. It takes a little hunting to find the no mint mark SF Mint 38mm medal.
Donald Regan Secretary of Treasury medal. This was the first time the mint produced the Secretary medal in small size. 33mm with only 1,493 minted in 1984. The experiment was not repeated.
1973 Boston Exhibit Washington before Boston bronze medal in 38mm. I don’t know why this was produced in bronze as it is not mentioned in the director’s report. Very common in this size in pewter as part of the America’s First Medals Series.
Picked this up at the monthly coin show, cost $9. A very ridiculous purchase but I'm slowly filling out a circulated 20th century registry set so you I need it even though I really don't need it. Would have cost me way more to have one certified myself so a bargain of sorts.

Had this for over 40 years. It is a nice size for display.
Display size - that is what I thought and bought one (top of this thread page) and put it on 'stuff' shelf. It is black also. He had a white one (I think it was) but the black just looked better for the nickels I thought.
I helped a dear old friend dispose of her late dad's accumulated coffee-can hoard, to the tune of about $3100 in realized sales and a big bag of US 90% that she's keeping in case of apocalypse. I kept this coin as memento of the experience. My friend's mom, also deceased, was my junior high school French teacher, and to judge by what else was with it I think this piece probably came from one of her early trips to France.
An irradiated dime. I recall looking into these and I think there was a thread on them. I don't remember the story now.
I believe this was the single most common style/type of all of them.
I did a photo of the smooth backside also for reference.

I read somewhere that carrying one of those irradiated dimes in your pocket could cause you to become sterile.

Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard
After upgrades the past 2 months, this is now the cheapest coin in my set per PCGS book.
Did you get it for 50¢ at a bank?

Picked this Morgan up at a coin show on Sunday for $30. Not really cheap, but I was impressed by the lack of defects on this heavily circulated coin.
I picked this key chain up at my LCS a few days ago.
I like that key chain. Looks like it has hardly been used if at all. It would hang nicely on a collector box, shelf of stuff or similar.
