PCGS Not a Valid U.S. Coin Number (SOLVED)

I was reviewing some coins on a very reputable auction website and when I checked and double checked and triple checked the certification number on the PCGS website it comes up "not a valid U.S. coin number". It's definitely a U.S. coin and it's not on Ebay.
I know the 98 represents a coin that is not straight graded but would that type of coin not come up in the search of the very number?
Btw, the number is 8108.98/45905211.

The cert number is showing up for me. 1810 half eagle?
Are you typing in the correct cert number only?

Only type in the cert number: 45905211
You don't need to add the coin number and grade: 8108.98
Hmmm...that's the coin. I'm putting the number in exactly as shown and it's still not showing up.
I put the number in using every combination I could think of and it didn't show for any of them.
The full number above and
8108.9845905211 no forward slash
81089845905211 no period
just the 45905211
Just the 8108.98
and I got the same message. I can't put up a screen shot but it says in red letters "The PCGS #45905211 is not a valid U.S. coin number"
Honestly, it could just be a website issue. Try to access the cert from a different web browser.
I don't know what's going on on my end but that's the right coin. Thanks!
45905211
is all you need
could be browser compatibility or smart phone...

I just tried to check it using my cellphone and I'm getting the same message...smh
Using your link did get me the results. Now I'm really scratching my head!
Mystery solved. When you go to Google and search PCGS look up the first two websites shown take you to two different PCGS webpages. The first is https://www.pcgs.com/pcgsnolookup. The second is
https://www.pcgs.com/cert. I used the first and that's where I got the no coin found message. The second website is the one used by MetroD. When I searched the cert from that site the coin did show up.
Thanks for everyone's help!
FYI just in case.
On that first one you should enter the 8108.

PCGS (coin) number lookup helps you to find the PCGS coin number used to complete the submission forms.
In this case, 8108.
A quick way to find the PCGS cert number verification screen is the "verify" icon at the top of the PCGS homepage.

Left click it, and you will get the following screen:
Link: https://www.pcgs.com
Format:
PCGS Coin Number . Grade / PCGS Cert Number
That will give you the type of coin but not info on a specific coin.
correct but if you are on that page, then that is the correct entry and not a cert number.

Well... That was a strange one... but eventually solved... And thanks for posting the 'solution'... Others could encounter the issue at some point. Cheers, RickO

I regularly check and this happens all the time. Sometimes it's a valid number and other times it's not. I think it's just a quirk with the PCGS website,
