almost picked up some rolls today but was on a mission(s). i did stop by an antique mall and stumbled around for a bit but i was in a mood that if i'm not buying something expensive (to me) or a large qty, i just moved on to keep the day progressing for the many things i wanted to accomplish, especially once i saw just how surprisingly calm things were out, especially traffic. i think i actually checked my phone at one point to verify it was actually, in fact, black friday.
to be fair, i would have actually stopped by a couple banks i'm not a member of to ask but when i thought about doing so, i was in the wrong lanes and didn't wanna circle back this time.
one of my favorite things turned out to be one of those fuzz removers i have been wanting for a LONG time now. you know, those first-world problems.
here is a dollar i got from rolls this year.
If my ship comes in on Monday, I have an 1878 8TF in mind that might be a justifiable splurge.
Probably closer to Christmas as to the purchase.

I wanted to add. When I did pick up my coin rolls at the bank. The lines almost appeared to be of that famous "Long lines" event, as well.
I guess, because the banks were closed, the day before (Thanksgiving).

I picked up some Mexico and ASE slabbed coins and a nice graded world banknote.
it is VERY weird.
coins are one of the few things, if not the ONLY things, i NEVER seen on sale.
the antique malls, pawn shops etc put everything on sale BUT coins.

Two coins from the Royal Canadian Mint during their annual sale and a 1997 Law Enforcement Memorial silver dollar from the local coin shop. Also a 1999 Yellowstone silver dollar from eBay.
Small business Saturday. Picked up a nice 1983 quarter in PCGS MS66 plastic from a shop up in WI, and it's a spitting eagle variety.
