I just received my grades on 2 coins. I’ve never cracked out a coin to submit in hopes of a better grade till now. 1st coin was a 1938 D Walker that was in an ANACS new holder as MS61….. it’s now in a 63 holder.
2nd coin is a 1918/7 D Buffalo that was PCGS F12 CAC….it’s now in a VF25 holder. I felt the Buffalo was under graded, but I am really surprised it jumped so much.

At least give yourself the credit of seeing a grade difference and cracking them out. Nice going.

That Buff has a full horn. It should be in a VF holder.

I'm seeing 80% horn. Definitely way more than 50% or 75%.
Of course PCGS does not require a true 100% full horn for VF.

Congrats. I did it once and made out ok. Getting ready to try it again. I hope this works out as before.

Was the CAC sticker on the nickel gold? Congrats on the upgrades!

@Vetter... Congratulations on the upgrades. Can be risky, but with good grading skills, it can work out well. Cheers, RickO

Congrats on both grade jumps. You got to be happy with those.
