I also like half dollars if anyone has seen any of those.
    Oh and quarters too, sometimes.

@Ownerofawheatiehorde... Welcome aboard.... Morgan dollars are probably the most widely collected silver coin in America. You will find many threads here on Morgans - use the search function. Have fun... Cheers, RickO

While toners and high grades can get expensive, many flashy Morgans up through MS64 can be acquired for < $100. You can’t say that about any other 19th century series. Good luck building your collection!

    Hi there and welcome aboard.

Collecting Morgans can be very addictive.

Started with a simple quest to fill the Dansco albums and after being hesitant to buy the key dates in raw, the madness soon escalated into acquiring a fully slabbed set. Had to restrict myself from not going above the grade of MS 64 (with a few random 65's) since being scattered with trying to finish other sets alongside.
    o:)

Eventually learnt that the secret to it is waiting patiently for the good ones to come your way at a price range that is comfortable for you and having loads of fun at the same time.

I have a big box full of VF to MS-64 (though PCGS would probably call the 64 a firm 62) I have every year, but am still trying to get all mints and varieties. My best so far is a nice '93 CC.
