No Love For Proof Morgans?

I dont think we see enough proof morgans posted. There have to be more amazing ones out there....would love to see them if you have them. Here's some horrid cell phone pics of a couple I've picked up over the years that I dont think I've posted before.

No love? No, just not a lot of people with the funds to collect. I love to look at them!
Beautiful coins, though I'm somewhat surprised by the lack of definition on the breast feathers. A strike issue??
Not that expensive, especially considering the lower mintage, beautiful quality, and overall demand following the business strikes. If I didn't have a chronic addiction to bust halves, I would probably pick up a few proof morgans. Your coins are stunning!

I would like to have one eventually. Nice coins!

In this case its a not great lighting and hack of a photographer issue. For the life of me I cannot get them to photograph well through the slab, and they dont have true views.
There was a point in time when I opted to go after semi-proof Morgans. It was fun creating my own niche collection of Morgans, especially since at that time there was minimal premium for semi-proofs. I still have the coins.
Absolutely stunning proofs. Love the cameo contrast and who wouldn’t love those! Thanks for showing them.
I have the love..

Still have a few more coins I want to upgrade first on my Complete Morgan Dollars Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1878-1921) before I add one.
Nice coins you have there

Those are beautiful coins. I do not have any proof Morgans.... That may change...
Cheers, RickO
Nice proofs- I would love to see the TVs if you have them! I do absolutely love proof Morgans- they are big, beautiful, flashy, and they come blast white with deep cameo or beautifully toned. There are absolute rarities, conditional rarities, patterns, branch mint proofs, and Chapman and Zerbe proofs- something for everyone!

Very anticlimactic posting after @Floridafacelifter but here are mine. Lol. Both with a sticker. @Floridafacelifter those are stunning.
Gorgeous coins. 👍
Love proof Morgans!.....Wish I could find more like this one PF-67+ Cam CAC
Nice. I like the 1902, its just oh so close to a cam.
I love your coin- I was going to give you a shout if you didn’t bring it to the party!
Thanks Buddy...I was just drooling over your gallery, especially that ridiculous 1899! That coin simply should not exist....I think it was made by an alien civilization, and planted here on earth.
Very nice- and you can build a beautiful set more reasonably priced by going down a few points in grade and there really isn’t that much difference in appearance. I mean really- look at that amazing hair definition over the ear and breast feathers on your ‘92 and it’s “only” a 64??
Btw the Cert # shows invalid with PCGS- if it’s still in the same holder/same number you should have PCGS fix that for you- I just went through that myself.
I normally dont like a lot of the toned Morgans, but thats beautiful.
Its nice to look at Morgan Dollars in proof. The clean cheek that is so often absent in uncirculated coins is a site to behold

Here is one that I previously owned. I had it CAC'ed before I sold it. It was just too much money to have in a piece that did not really fit my sets. The proof Morgans get my love for sure. I think they are beautiful coins.
Edited to add the Trueviews

Apparently one of them does have a TV, i just never realized it before. Im going to have to send the others in to pcgs one of these days to get TV's on the others.

@humanssuck great Morgans! Thanks for sharing. I personally love your casual in-hand pics. They look like screamers.
We're getting affordable ones next year, subscribe today!
From my proof type set. One is a 66, the other a 63. I should sell the 63 but love these proof Morgans.
Wow! Swoooonnnn!
I haven't the funds, like many here, but I love proof Morgans and often download TrueViews or other pics when I come across pretty ones. Here are a few.
I recently downloaded the TrueView of @Floridafacelifter 's 1896, not knowing who it belonged to. It's a really nice coin. I might've gotten a few of these photos from this forum.

That’s a splendid array of beauties!
Here’s mine. I love proof Morgans. This one is part of an 1888 proof set.
I love them, but I'm not a current collector of Morgans, definitely something on my list after I complete my type set.
I only have one, but it was just what I needed for my proof set. I think it is outstanding for the grade.
.
not the most important of the bunch but what a fantastic representation of what the gem morgan could/should look like. (toning is fine too) that coin and the spot-on images just looks really contactlessly classy!
the 78 pattern obv image is slightly egg-shaped. only about 10-15 pixels. fwiw
You’re right I didn’t notice that before- I downloaded the TV directly from my Registry app.

Fascinated by the toning on this one FFL. Would be most interested to see a non-TV pic to get a better feel for it. I like coins that have some distinction from others and that one sure does! Very cool.

Thank you so much- it does look like that in hand- the toning is pretty well confined to the fields only not the devices- it’s very unique!

Lots of great additions. As is said, "The Proof is in the Pudding."
Maybe someone with a penchant for coin photography can start a thread showcasing the semi-proofs.
Does this count? I have more photos that I've taken filed away.

I only own one,a 1891-CC.It was bought raw and in my album now.

When I sent this in to be cacked way back when, I was surprised to receive a phone call from JA. He wanted to make sure I knew that while accurately graded (slide marks on the cheek), it looked like a 67. He didn't have to do that, and I really appreciated it.

After collecting DMPL's over the years the Proof Morgans elevated my game to another level.

Although I've owned a few I never had the urge to go for them. Cost is of course a big consideration and the mint is another (they are not CC's). I did find one in the wild and sent to PCGS for restoration and was pleasantly pleased but ended up trading for other material.

Nah. I generally don’t collect things that were made for collectors.

Back in the 1970's I got to hold a beautiful 1895. I wish now that I bought it.
Don't own any myself but I love looking at them! It seems like some of the best frosty cameos came out of the late 1890's period, then went blah starting with 1900.
