Not a die crack. PMD. Straight cut

It's raised because the knife cut displaced the metal. Sorry. Not a Die Crack

One hundred percent post-mint damage. As others have stated, probably from a knife. It did not happen as part of the minting process. The value of it is $0.05.
That's why I like other eyeballs on things...darn lol.
Guilty of celebrating too early...need that second cup of coffee.
Always happy to share the results...
Appreciating alll this expertise at the moment!
...Should've high-power louped before getting all giddy...
Can we call it another senior moment?

Personally I'd still keep it as an education resources. It's a great example of this effect.
PMD
I know I can say with certainty I have done that before. But, that is okay. It makes the actual good finds even better.
Thanks for the further pictures... I concur with PMD. Cheers, RickO
Your macro pics are very good.
Metal movement - digging a farrow and pushing up material............

This is a really good example of that happens when metal is displaced. Thanks for posting it.
Collector, occasional seller
So the cut raised the metal. I can see where @Kurisu coin could be confusing and compared to a die crack. I would say @Steven59 post is a pretty good visual example of that.
Disclaimer: I'm not a dealer, trader, grader, investor or professional numismatist. I'm just a hobbyist. (To protect me but mostly you! 🤣 )
A crack would follow the grain boundaries of the material, which would typically be jagged instead of straight. This is why rivers and politicians are crooked, they follow the path of least resistance.

One hell of a knife cut. I also concur it is without question PMD.
Post mint damage 😢
