Uhm... Where's the mintmark?
Man... I hope no one falls for that one. I don't see a mintmark either...
i just saw ikegwin's REALLLY old post about verdi care or whatever it is called and i can tell you with authority, the coin in the OP is just a soak away from ms64rb.
There are scams where I feel sorry for the victim; there's no crime in being not very bright, and nobody deserves to be scammed.
Well, except that anyone who would pay more than $.01 for this thing really deserves what he/she gets.
I'm becoming convinced that the absurd "deals" for coins on Etsy are all part of an academic study; nobody could really be paying real money for that garbage!
If the penny is real, this would be one of ETSY's better deals.
I don’t see an “S.” Maybe the corrosion ate it.
Looks like environmental damage, and the mint mark is not visible in the picture - if it was ever there at all.... Cheers, RickO
No, that what makes this coin so rare! Much like the 1922 no D Lincoln, this the rare 1931 no S Lincoln!!!!
I just lost mine.

It's a pareidolia coin. See the S between and under the 9 and 3 and again an s under the 1. Probably why it is so valuable. Big S and a little s.
