It is November, isn’t it..
204/221, 92.3%, 3rd all time…. for my Griffey Basic Set.. Little rough around the edges... but could not beat the price. Can’t go wrong with a late 90’s UD Griffey!

These 1953 Bowman Color cards are so difficult to find well centered. It was a great idea by the trailblazing bubble gum company, Bowman, to issue a card without lettering, team logos, facsimile autographs or distracting design...and just let the beauty of color photography take over.
Here is my latest addition and I am happy to add it to my collection. The colors are bright and eye popping, the card is well centered for the issue which is so problematic, and the borders are bright white showing little to no toning. The inks do not align perfectly (registration is a little off) and corners have minor touches...accounting for the assigned grade. The positives outweigh the negatives in my eye...so I pulled the trigger.
Love that Snider. When your OCD can’t handle it in an SGC slab IM me and I will put it with your old ‘63 Berra!!
Nice pickup.
Picked up a PSA 9 Pedro Martinez refractor from one of my favorite sets of the 90's - 1997 Bowman Chrome. Also a few raw refractors for grading and a new toy from Amazon.
Added a couple of 60s

An October pickup that I just got around to hanging in the man cave. Won this at a golf outing a couple weeks ago:
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com
I’ve been getting into celebrity autographs lately. Pretty happy to add this to the collection.
hey Bosox1976,
Nice...
Very happy to finally pick up a 1950 Bowman Otto Graham rookie card. This is pretty low grade especially with the staining, but they don’t come along in my price range very often.
205/221, 92.8%, 3rd all time…. for my Griffey Basic Set.. Been working in this set for about 5 years and finally scored the 2nd highest weighted card in a 10! One of the 2 serial numbered base cards, this one out of 1999. Pop 9.

hey Browns1981,
I'd be proud of that Otto....Cool card....
For Sale
Not too exciting, but in very nice condition.
Really hard to find one with centering like that!

#1 John Hannah master set

Just picked up the lowest Pop (13) PSA 10 of the set to finish off my 1970 Kelloggs FB set in all PSA 10.
Matt
Thanks! A bit off left to right. Probably won't improve on the 8 I have in my set, but always nice to pick up a really nice item.
Had to pick one up after discussing in another thread. 5 hall of famers on one card.
When I saw it in a lot of baseball themed photos and postcards, I nearly broke my phone’s glass by hitting that BIN so hard. Given the entire contents of the lot, this will go down as an all time type find for me. Anyone who knows me - and even those that don’t but are remotely perceptive - will understand why this one is so absof’nlutely on the nose.

Very nice. Iverson is one of my all time favorites. I’ve been thinking of buying one of these myself.
Congrats Tim!

Got this 57 George Kell. How do I fix my scan?
I collect hall of fame rookie cards, https://www.instagram.com/stwainfan/
You should be able to ‘crop’ that image; basically you zoom in on the image and cut out the background and it works similar to cutting and pasting an image.
ETA:
I did that with my phone and your image…

Next time? Leave the lid open and turn off all the lights in the room. Makes the white border cards (especially) pop even more!

I need to try that idea...Thanks...
If he can do that with his phone, imagine what one could do with even rudimentary image software. Five minutes with Paint could do even better.
Not sure what to do with them now. Frame?
hey JustMark,
Oh wow...pretty cool...
One of the greatest moments from a dismal final for my hometown team. I've passed on 4 or 5 of these in recent years, none of which had a PSA sticker, so this was an easy buy at the price I got it at.

Picked these up at the Toronto Sport Expo show today. A lot of hockey but the other sports and non sports was well represented.

Nice pickups! Those are stunning. Hard to find well centered examples out there. Are you going to have them graded?
Thanks for the compliments. At the moment, I plan to keep them raw. I’m building a raw, centered Yaz set. Once I get them all together, I’ll consider sending them off to be graded. I started this project many years ago and abandoned the set, selling a ridiculous 1968 Topps Yaz that I’d kill to have back. So now I’m back at it.
Both cards are very crisp in hand.
Andy
the kid. Best player in my Brewers' history. Could not pass this one up. Multiple MVPs (at 2 positions), gold glove, silver sluggers, HOF. Rockin' Robin is the Brewers.

I'm all over the place free style collecting
Picked up some nice low/mid-grade 61s. I love the league leader cards from this set.
Funny I’d been watching the AL HR leaders for a nice one, and then I get this and find I’ve already got one. Oh well!
Even though my name isn’t Brendan, I’m pretty excited to add this to my collection. Collecting Bruins and Boston Garden items are the focus of my memorabilia collection.
I love 90's inserts. You can't go wrong with adding MJ and Kobe on the same card to your collection.
Random pickups from the last couple of weeks
due to being short of funds at the moment had to rummage the local card shops discount bin. all cards $1-2
hey Kid4hof03,
Nice racks...
