They look fantastic! But I'm not seeing what you are seeing on the website.

Do I list my kidney here or on the BST?
I believe they come out to those on the email list first. I received an email a little while ago with the above coins. They appear on the website later. Gives the preferred customers a chance to buy first.

Big day for great old gold. Between these and the 50 Doug Winter posted there are plenty of coins for all.

Every couple of weeks we send out our ‘Early Bird Notification’ email.
The Early Bird contains a list of our newest purchases, expertly photographed and described to the hilt, before they appear on our website.
Subscribers to the Early Bird will have the first shot at these coins; any coin not sold off the list will then appear on our website a few days later.
Many coins sell before they ever make it to our online inventory, so we encourage you to sign up – it’s free, it’s easy and there’s no obligation.

You have to be a pretty big boy to partake in those offerings.
Very nice!!

I agree. Those Quarter Eagle Early gold coins are really nice. They have appreciated a little too much for this little guy.

OK! Long time subscriber to CRO. It is in my in-box....I thought it was only on Tuesdays.....but this one looks special.

"The Finest Seen." Gotta love the marketing fluff.
Darn sure if I'm spending $185k on that coin, I'd want to know seen by who? CRO or some granny in the nursing home?
I am a huge fan of CRO and I was waiting for other comments and to see if anything was put on hold in the last few hours. Even though these are high roller coins (the GW medal especially is a trophy coin)... But...
Maybe I'm wrong...generally these dont look very "CRO style" ...
Also you would expect something to be put on hold within a few hours of one of his emails going out, as of this posting they all still look available...maybe others feel the same way or probably more likely 5-6 figure coins take more than a minute to sell...
That all being said Id be happy to own any of those pieces being pretty scarce/rare higher grade gold and it was very cool to get an EB style email to oogle. After I saw the banner on his site earlier this week, I was just expecting more of a combo of old holders, collector grade and D.O.G.

Wow. The GW funeral medal is on hold. Some really cool gold there, but out of my reach, by far.
Lots of great stuff, but I did not see anything that I need.
I think you will need to list both of them
Martin
The Washington medal is holed and straight graded?
It was made that way
the two uncirculated 1807's $2.5 are really nice looking especially the one in the rattler. Prices feel a bit on the high side but let's wait and see if they go on hold. It's hard to find ones as nice as those. It feels like the market is a bit toppy.
Really nice old gold.... and high priced. To be expected with such pieces. Cheers, RickO
Chuck those pieces into a Heritage Platinum night and see if these prices still feel “too high”
Latin American Collection
They were issued holed for suspension in all metal types to be worn.
Those two 1807 sold in the past year or so. I believe the 63 in 4/22 at SB and the 62 at LM in 12/21. You could be right that they might do better the second time around in less than a year via a HA Platinum night. I would take the under but I wouldn't give odds.
How many 1807 $2.50 are in OGHs? If someone needs that holder for a collection a high price may be paid. I’ll have to check how many of the other offerings are in old holders.
Always hard to tell of the market is down some because the quality of the coin should determine the price. If a lesser quality coin at same grade sells cheaper it doesn’t mean the better one should too.

I certainly hope it sells for the current asking price. I think it sold for 156k in 4/22 and saw it at a dealers table in Chicago. It is very nice. Full disclosure, I have the other 63 in CAC. :-)
Congrats @earlyAurum I hope to one day own a much lower graded example from that series.
I just bought a $5 1803/2 in 58CAC.

None of the coins have sold yet which is very unusual for CRO type offerings. I have bought and missed some great coins from CRO. Currently I am in the market for a CAC 1807 in AU. I was the under bidder on the AU 55 in August and was willing to go a little more but did not place a bid when the auction closed as I got distracted. The offering price is now 28% higher and with the way these have already increased in price I will have to just wait to make a purchase if ever.
The auction prices might be the top on most of these items and if the market is cooling at all it might be harder for dealers to flip these coins. Every collector has access to buy in these auctions.
They are all nice coins for sure.
