Remind me... next year

In a different forum ( precious metals) we are predicting the price of silver and gold next year.
I guessed silver would be $85 per oz., next year.
Looks like I'm close, this month.
You buying ?

I suspect that I will indeed be a very limited edition, at that price.
I am interested to see in 6 months the prices for slabs with limited edition on the lab , quarters and the Kennedy, what premium they bring. Perhaps set builders needs will justify the grading fees and original cost. 😁

I am not a buyer.... especially not at that price. Just more silver to sit while dreaming of silver hitting $81.28/oz. just to break even. Cheers, RickO
Seriously overpriced ... especially in a time when a recession seems likely. It may end up being a very low mintage unless they cut the price significantly.
Has the mint ever cut a price from that initially posted for any offering? I think they gave a $5 GSE if you bought a 1oz GSE which is kind of a cut or discount if I recall correctly. Any other times?
I already have the regular proof set, and the regular silver proof set (which includes some duplicates). And I already have the ASE proofs. So it seems that I already own all the coins.
If I believed that the price of silver would spike, I certainly would take a flyer, since I think it'll be a pretty set, and it would be nice not to have non-silver coins mixed in. But I very much doubt silver will go above $30/ounce in the near future, meaning that one either has to get a lot of pleasure from owning this set, or it has to remain a fairly hot item on the secondary market to justify the purchase.
I'll think about it....
