How does someone get a PCGS AND CAC turnaround this fast???

So I sold a coin on Great Collections 8/21 let's figure it was shipped out and delivered within a week. How does someone get the coin upgraded at PCGS AND sent back to CAC AND now it's at auction on GC again. Kudos for the Plus upgrade and another CAC to the owner but I want to know how did all of this take place so fast? Someone show me the way..

The buyer likely opted for a more expensive, faster grading tier at PCGS. It's been nearly two months since the coin sold, so I don't see this as especially surprising.

Pay premium fees for fast service. Cheers, RickO
Show grading at PCGS, perhaps a walkthrough at CAC. The bean was just a resticker anyway as CAC ignores the +.

i was kinda shocked initially but i did miss the 8/21, so your comment is spot-on and now it makes sense to me. thanks
kinda inspiring to read things like this. knowing people are out there grinding it out baby.
if that isn't goal-oriented and assertive, i don't know what!
The value added by the plus grade may have been eaten by additional grading and express CAC fees paid

Did the coin retain the same Cert number?

Different Cert number.
If that’s the case it also had to go to CAC as though it were the first time, not a resticker.

BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
I think certain individuals and firms have access to quick turnaround times at least between GC and PCGS since they are close to each other.
Also if you do enough volume, you probably get special service.
Over the years, I saw a few of the coins l sold at GC show up in new plastic. Sometimes with an upgrade and sometimes the same grade.
Check the old cert# and you will find out if it was a crank out or re-grade.
Crack outs usually don’t get the old cert# removed for many months if ever.
They paid for it (express service), and possibly had GC do it for them
Meanwhile the common people wait 6 months then forget what was submitted.SMH
It’s not about “common people” vs. non-common people. Everyone has access to the same submission tiers.

Are you positive it is the same coin?
100%
You mean I could pay for walk through, too? I don't believe it.
[End sarcasm.]
What about CAC do they have an express service? Just wondering the shipping to all parties involved and inventoried is just amazing this can be done in 6 weeks max prob 5 weeks to make this timeline work? I might try it just for fun.
CAC has an expedited tier
If you are willing to pay enough money, you can get pretty much any kind of turnaround you want. You have to ask yourself given the coin you have in mind, it is worth it?
