New design PCGS black box?

I received 2 separate PCGS orders last week, my Economy order of roughly 35 coins came in the 2 boxes with the added Gold shield logo on the top of the box, and my Regular order in the common black box we have been seeing for years… has anyone else seen/noticed this yet?

I have a gold box, but the shield is black.... Green boxes, no shield. Cheers, RickO
After i posted this i did a quick Ebay search, it looks like there are a few of these out there already…
I have seen those recently. I have one of the older black boxes without the shield.

A bulk order I just got back had some of each. The shield was also present on the gold boxes.

I've been getting my orders back in the gold boxes recently, which I thought they were out of. I have not noticed, I'll have to check at home.
edit - yup, gold box w/black shield.
Similar to the 'Museum of Coin Holders', I am thinking that pcgs could maybe generate a new 'Museum of Coin Boxes'.

so do you have like a 1000 pcgs boxes from all the subs or do they send the bulk back in cardboard BIG slotted boxes like ngc does sometimes?
I just got two separate orders back and the black box has a shield on it. The other order was a gold box with a black shield.

I've never seen a cardboard slotted box from PCGS. I try not to keep lots of extra boxes, so I will use them for shipping out submissions made to me when it makes sense. They fit into padded priority and express mailers and two to a Regional A box.

wow. then a bulk sub of 1000 coins nets 50 pcgs boxes in one go!
