It's a great low grade example of the type but i don't think it would straight grade

Looks like environmental damage, but still, IMO, any coin from that period is a great collector piece. I like the history. Cheers, RickO
if and it didn't come back in a bodybag for a couple different reasons, i'd say like the others some vf/xf details corrosion or tooled/smoothed.

I would love some help id'ing the Cohen number. It appears to me to be a C-3B. Due to the upper right berry on the left vine.

Fine details
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
Fine sharpness, details grade because of environmental damage.
Details, very close to VF.
Early Half Cents are very difficult to find nice... I'd say this one has F15 details, Environmental Damage.

Sorry, about my C-3b designation. The only photo I could find of a 1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent with a top right side berry on the left wreath was a poor photo in Dr. Manley's book on Half Cent Varieties that might show a berry, but then other diagnostics deny the C-3b designation. Hopefully, someone capable of making this determination will chime in, as I have been unable to find a single variety with a berry in this position of top right side of left wreath.
Thanks,
Jim

In the F Details crowd.
F12 details, porous.
Dave
Unfortunately this coin is a fake. 1794 Liberty Cap obverse combined with a stemless reverse only see on 1804 C-12, 1804 C-13, 1805 C-1, and 1806 C-1.
i'm not the expert but after this comment, i did look up what i think is a full set by cohen numbers, with no 1794 being listed w/o stems.
so, until proven otherwise, i'm with MrHalfCent

There is also none I can find with a berry on the upper right side of the wreath, got so caught up with that and did not notice the stemless condition. Thank you @Mr.Halfcent

Yes, I got caught not thinking out of the box on this one. I need to stop doing that. Someone asked for a Cohen number, and I couldn't attribute it because none of the reverses matched. I was too much in the box and should have seen the missing stems on the wreath. I saw the obverse as a 1794 C-2.
The only saving grace is that I don't buy coins like this.
Yikes I didn't even check the cohen numbers for this one, just automatically assumed it was real, theres no immediate red flags, got to be careful out there!
