Show us your "Sweet Little Deals"

I stumbled upon this little gem on eBay. It arrived today. Only two bids were and both bids were mine (the second bid was to snipe- but it wasn't necessary).
I enjoy picking up sweet little deals like this now and then.
Nothing to break the bank- just a neat little coin in a cool PCGS older slab.
It arrived today, and the slab is pristine without a single mark or scratch (or sticker residue!).
The Mercury is also bright white, lustrous, and undipped.
All the ingredients to a sweet little deal!

That is a good deal for that coin.

Looks nice, @braddick! Low cost Mercs in that generation holder might be much more likely to get the coveted gold CAC sticker than other coins and, as such, might be worth much more in the current environment.

I'm actually waiting for an under $10 ebay gamble right now, should be here Monday and I'll find out! If it's a win we'll all find out

My last one was also an ebay and I posted about it too...

Basically with shipping a handful of proofs ended up costing me about $1 each!!! Under $10 order total.
I bid because this seller didn't sell many coins and looking at the fairly blurry photos I thought a couple of the proofs looked interesting. Especially since the seller was definitely NOT trying to make them look great lol.

It's currently in the pile for my next grading order with our host

Some of my best "Sweet Little Deals" came from cherry picking raw proof coins from 1936-1970 for very modest money including:

    1940PF67

    1940 PF67

    1940 PF67

The three 1940 proof coins all came from the same raw set I picked up at a local coin shop :)

    1950 PF66CAM

    1953 PF67CAM

    1957 PF68CAM

    1959 PF67DCAM

    1952 PF68CAM

    1951 PF66CAM

    1950 PF66

    1950 PF64CAM

    1955 PF68CAM

    1957 PF68CAM

    1961 PF67 DDR

    1963 PF67DCAM

Really nice group especially the 1940's. Imo the '36 through '42 attractive proofs are great values in todays market place.

I sold a similar one a couple months back for $45 in case you wanted to put a value on it. Nice pickup!

My sweet deals were a couple of 1964 proof sets with accented hair Kennedy halves. Got each set for $20. Cheers, RickO

Well, I said I'd post if my little $10 gamble paid off...first of all, the order was $8 total

I'm calling it a win! Another example of poor seller photos but my eyeballs and gut said heya! Get that!!

3 SBAs in the order...one looked potentially "pretty".

Arrived and...It is VERY pretty
It was a challenge to get a shot of it NOT showing it's wonderfulness, it deserves some "real" photos at some point

I picked this coin up on eBay. It was advertised as a DDO and had a buy it now for $20 or best offer with free shipping. I thought about offing $18 but decided to just pull the trigger for $20. When the coin arrived, I liked it and off to PCGS it went. Graded PR69 DCAM and labeled FS-101.

Price guide currently list value at $ 2,500.00
