My best cherrypick yet! A well-known and popular Morgan VAM.

Last weekend at a show, I found this Morgan dollar. I knew what it was before looking at it through my loupe- an 1888-O VAM-1B3 Scarface, Harrison Stage 8! About 8-10 years ago, I picked a Harrison-7 (the crack goes through the nose but stops before it gets to the cheek) which graded MS63 at ANACS. I sold that one to a buddy of mine who is trying to assemble a set of all 10 Harrison stages. I overnighted it to ANACS and found out yesterday it has graded MS61. I called my buddy, and we negotiated a deal- he will have one of the 'full-blown' scarfaces in his collection when I get it back!

nice, i like
Your title is correct. I don't do VAMs, just casual observer. But even I know that one quickly.
Any idea how it got to his inventory? Maybe he just bought a group from a family or something. I would not think it would have sat in his inventory for too long unless he only does a few shows a year or similar.

Excellent cherry pick! One of my best ones to date from years ago. ( don’t want to hijack your post)
Definitely a "You Suck"!!! I think it is automatically awarded for a Scarface...

That's awesome! A later die state also- looks like H10!
Very Very nice.
Hoard the keys.
You are correct. It is an H10 with the die crack extending down into the lowest hair curl. I do believe this was the terminal die state as I have not seen any other that has traveled further down.and here is the reverse
