Anyone going to Long Beach this week?

I will be there just one day (Thursday) and will be attending the PCGS luncheon as well. Anyone else here going to the show?

I'm going to make an appearance on Saturday. I have some training for work I'll be in the area for the following week, so I decided to fly in early for the weekend.

I'll be there on Saturday! This will be my first LB show in about 5 years, so I'm looking forward to seeing some old faces. I wonder how the show has evolved since my last visit...

Will try to make it Friday. I will probably be the only one there wearing a mask, so I should be easy to spot. Come and say 'hello.'

I usually go every Sep. Such a great show! I had a conflict this year. Maybe I'll try again in Feb.

The Sep show works well for me. I fly down from Seattle early Thursday, walk the floor all day, then hit a local brewery that evening, and watch Thursday Night Football. I head back to the show the next day, and fly out Fri evening. I'm in a rut, but love it!

Good luck for those going this week.

Set up at Booth 620 (Select Rarities) for the entire show. Trade dollars and top grade Ikes and Silver Eagles are a lot of what I will have out.

Lots of good reasons to go to Long Beach this week. Always an important event and Heritage holding the Bass Sale is a HUGE bonus.

  • I’m trying to decide whether to take a half day on Friday or attend on Saturday. If it’s just a skeleton crew on Saturday, maybe I’ll take the PTO on Friday. What do folks think?

I have never been there on Sat, have always gone on Fri when I have gone in the past. From the reports I have read here things begin to thin out by Fri and many dealers are history before Sat. The LB shows I have been to there were lots of dealers on Fri, but also some empty tables or tables with a token empty case and a few business cards on the table.

  • Yes I’ll be there! I’m going to talk to someone about my 1987 MS69 penny I recently got graded, I’m trying to figure out the best way to sell it. This is my first coin show, I’m looking forward to it!

If it were me, I would take it to Great Collections and talk to Ian and put it in an auction. I think you will do a lot better
