My avatar is an 1817 Texas (New Spain) 1/2 Real, or Jola, minted by Manuel Barrera. I will never own one of these beauties, so having this as my avatar will have to suffice.
I like @1630Boston's avatar coin..... Would love to have one of those. I used to dream of finding one of those while metal detecting... And very possible in the area I live. Cheers, RickO
Julian Leidman is a dealer and member here although I haven't seen him post in a while. His avatar is the unique double eagle gold pattern J-1776 with the Indian head design which he owned at one time. It's probably the most valuable US coin ever produced.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
If money weren't an obstacle, from US coinage 1) 1861 CSA half dollar 2) Partrick 1792 MS-63 Getz pattern half dollar 3) 1850 Horseman Baldwin & Company $10.

Danaca's colorful Franc always caught my eye.
I kind of like the avatar of @mbogoman.
I'm also guessing not too many people even know what mine is.

Several here have “ big ole gold coins “ and I would love to have an ouncer in my collection.
I’m extremely grateful for my avatar which was gifted 😁

I read the title to this thread and thought "Well, no one is going to pick mine...". How wrong I was!

I forget whose it is but someone has a killer toned 3C silver as their avatar that I love.

Nic’s 1839 has exquisite toning. I think it’s a dime but not sure.

It's a Kudu.
It’s actually a greater kudu. The photo was taken during a stay on my friends ranch in Namibia. Majestic creatures.

Happy with the coin/avatar I have…but @Eldorado9 would be able to pass a good avatar to a lucky winner.
Chance favors the prepared mind.
