Many of the images of coins listed by that seller certainly look odd.

Is that a hockey puck? or a dog chew toy, I can't tell which.....

@MarkFeld yes, and I mentioned him a while back, and I said I didn't understand how he was selling so many ruined coins. You said there is a market for everything, as I recall. But, his auctions are well worth passing by. Now he's got fakes.... He knows better you can be sure of that.

There is a market for everything - it’s just a matter of at what price. And unknowledgeable buyers will often pay a lot more than knowledgeable ones.

fwiw, if you click the ebay id name, and then click contact, top right, you can contact them outside of a listing.

this SHOULD be the link in this case.

45 neutral feedbacks and 23 negatives.
Nearly all of them for false advertising, deceiving pictures, coin not as expected, etc.
I think the pictures are pretty clear though. Clear that it's a seller to avoid.

Looks like that dealer has a preponderance of phony material..... He must buy up all the junk on ebay and then make a market with it. :D Cheers, RickO

Every coin he's offering shows the exact same "cartwheel luster" marks, just different dates.

@MFeld.... You are correct... Thanks for pointing that out. I will change it to something like 'preponderance of material'. Cheers, RickO

Rick, it's nowhere close to preponderance, either, from looking at his listings. It's one thing to dislike the coins and/or the imaging, but it's another to label them Edited ;)

It's a preponderance of ( pick your own adjective here) photo editing.

Photo editing can be beautiful and enhancing or phony.

This photo and the two linked by thebeav appear to have been smoothed (best name I can think of) via some photo tool. It is seen here by the date which appears to be the original photo surface and under the wing or inside the R (there are many other areas similar).

True, but the "phony" comment appeared to be about the coins ("material"), not the photo editing.

It is a fact the coins are probably real, but misrepresentation is commonplace on the web through the use of photo editing and that should not be minimized.

I agree and feel very strongly about the misrepresentation issue. However, that doesn't justify a comment such as Edited ;)

Some very weird looking Morgans. Also, 150 revised feedbacks plus a lot of neutral and negative ones.
