Hello everyone, I was browsing the beautiful photographs of morgan dollars (78 cc dmpl) in the different grades and realized that I had a couple that were the photos for that grade. My question is what is the selection process pcgs uses to select the photos? It turns out the coins were also all Cac. Please advise thanks!

Coins with a TrueView that are in public, published registry sets are pulled into CoinFacts.
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
This was discussed somewhat in this thread. It might give you what you want to know.

Thanks for the link. It sounds like no real criteria except for public viewing allowed and then random.
Nice to have one's coins selected as standards.... A bit of fleeting fame and personal satisfaction. Cheers, RickO
The top three coins (grade wise) for each issue as well as any coin that is in a publicly accessible registry or showcase set or publicly accessible registry inventory.
