Insurance

I have a few cases at a local antique mall where I sell my coins. The cases are locked, there are video cameras everywhere, and there are security systems on all windows and doors.
I just found out nobody’s contents in the mall are insured against fire or theft.
I know Hugh wood has policies for coins in bank safe deposit boxes but I do not see where they cover malls. Does anyone know of a company that will insure goods in my situation?
Thank you in advance for your comments.

Try contacting a commercial broker. Depending on the insured cost, you might find the rates are based on the security and fire protection at that mall.
With the described situation, I would say a local broker would be the likely option. That way, they could assess the on site security and history in order to propose a policy. Cheers, RickO
Hugh Wood has dealer insurance policies that cover your items at locations where you sell and when travelling to and from locations with your inventory. I'm not sure if that would include items left locked in a mall, but it covers inventory while locked overnight at coin shows.

As others have said, you need to contact a local insurance agent. From what you have described I fear the rate you will be quoted will be high. Locked cases are easily broken into by determined thieves and coins are likely to be a prime target in a mall such as you describe.
I do not know about your situation. However, another company that sets up at some of the larger coin shows is The Whitmore Agency. I had to look at the ANA table listing to find them as I have not dealt with them. I have talked to them at shows but not done business with them so again don't know of any actuals. I do know some dealers who use them.
Did a search and found their website. The second link would be the one for something like you mention if they would do it. Also I recognize James on that page as one of the people who attends some of the coin shows.
