I now have three but I think I have found the one to keep for my Toned Merc set.

Most recently acquired in the last week.
MS67+ CAC There's a bit more green on the left hand side of the coin than the photo shows, obv and rev.

Here is another 37-S that I acquired a few weeks ago and no longer have to keep. This is my photo and there is a good amount more blue than my photo shows. I just couldn't capture it all. Still a neat Blue & Gold coin in a rattler with CAC sticker. By today's standards, I would call it a 67FB.

I also have the stand alone Top Pop 1/0 1937-S DDO FS-101 in MS67+FB CAC
It has some nice gold/copper obverse toning but nothing like the first one in this thread.

Love the new 37-S! <3 Gorgeous coin.

The Blue and Gold example is stunning in it's own right, and the DDO is drool worthy! :p

There's something about that first one that makes me like it considerably more than the second two - I think it's the blazing original luster mixed with the color. Don't get me wrong, the other two are phenomenal, but that first one is other worldly.

Thanks. The first one is like holding fireworks in your hand, very bright and flashy!

I can see why you might prefer the first but, man, what a nice problem to have!

I’ve always had a soft spot for 37-s Mercs. The first PCGS coin I ever purchased was a 37-s Mercury. I have no idea why I remember that, but I do. These are way nicer than the one I owned, which I believe was a MS65. Beautiful coins!!!

keyman64: It's not a secret that TRUEVIEW pictures are a bit "glamorous" but if that second coin is even close to how the picture represents it please consider me a home for it if it ever gets kicked out of your home! :) I absolutely love the color and distribution thereof on that dime. BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing.

call me crazy but the first one really doesn't do it for me... the second and third ones have me drooling all over my keyboard though :tongue:
