I Completed My Standing Lib Quarter Full Head DATE Registry Set

I just completed my Standing Lib Full Head DATE set. I chose to do a DATE set so I can get coins in higher grades, since many fewer coins are needed, and I can also choose the least expensive coin for each date. I’m proud that 8 of the 14 coins have a “+” as part of the grade. I’m still on the hunt for several upgrades.
Unlike most collectors, for early 20th Century silver, I prefer the eye appeal of highly lustrous coins with no toning or only slight toning. Yes, I recognize that most of these coins have previously been dipped, but apparently it was done gently enough that each coin still received a CAC sticker.
Here’s a hotlink to my Registry Set:

Well done and congrats!
Great looking coins @winesteven
That is my all time favorite silver design. Before I converted over to all gold I was collecting that series in very similar coins. They had to look like the day they left the mint. Good luck on your next set.

Speaking of SLQ's did any one happen to see the 27-s OGH 64 in the last stacks sale, so close to FH, probably worth a try, but more importantly the coin was spectacular. Price realized, few others must have felt the same. If I were in the market for one, I would have loved to have that one.
Love how PQ your sets are. Really impressed with your 1916. Thanks for sharing
Respect! You've earned it.
My strategy is about collecting what I intend to keep, not investing in what I plan to sell.
@winesteven... Congratulations and well done!!! Really nice coins....Cheers, RickO

Steve.
What a treat is is to view your newly completed date set. Congratulations on finishing it.
All of the coins look great. Looking at all of the photos three coins stood out and immediately grabbed my attention (the 1916, 1924 and 1928S). Those three coins really "popped" off of my computer screen with luster.
In hand which of these coins is your favorite to look at?
NOT due to value differences, but I really love the 1916 and 1918. But like our kids, don't we love each of them, lol?
By the way, I bought the 1918 as a 66FH. I loved it so much I sent it back to PCGS via Reconsideration, and they agreed. It came back as MS66+FH. Since the cert number remained unchanged, and it did NOT get to the next whole grade number, CAC AUTOMATICALLY reapplied their sticker for just $5 without a need for CAC to re-evaluate the coin (CAC ignores plus grades - that means when you see a coin with a plus grade and a CAC sticker they are NOT saying the coin is solid as a plus, but they're still only saying the coin is solid for that whole grade number).

Nice set!
For now I’ll take a breather, and just work on upgrades for a few of my sets. In a couple of weeks I’ll present a VERY unique set that several of you know I’ve been working on. Just waiting to get a few coins back to take some photos.
Thanks for asking.
