It's pretty worn down, I'm thinking no better than G4 but again, I am not a grader at all. Any advice would be awesome!

Looks wholesome enough for a well graded coin, but AG at best and to my eye, it is a F2

Looks like an album coin whatever the grade... Probably not worth slabbing fees. Tough to assess from the video. Cheers, RickO

Yeah, not sure its worth grading either, just trying to do my best on figuring out HOW to grade things and getting some validation on what I am doing. In the future, what is my best bet for getting the best angles to assist with grading? I tried photos but felt I could get a better idea via short video than photo. Obviously, I am making a lot of assumptions so anything that can be validated would be awesome.

@jshaulis... A video can be helpful for evaluating luster and 'in hand' color. However, straight on, clear photographs of obverse and reverse are necessary to attempt assessing grade. Even then, grading from pictures can be tricky with lighting and color shifts. Cheers, RickO

AG3 details(scratch). Not worth having graded.

100% this, good for an album/type coin though :)

This is an extremely low grade for this coin. These pieces did not circulate that much, and very few of them show this much wear. You should be able to find one in VF or better. If you are looking to build a set of the lowest grades, this would probably qualify.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I agree with AG3 details. Bill's right about this run of Half Cents... it's not that difficult to find nice VF pieces for a date run. Early copper can be tricky though... clean smooth surfaces without pitting or corrosion is the first assessment. Then, assess the color to determine whether or not the coin has been cleaned. Cleaned copper takes on an "orange" appearance which is not a natural color...

I referenced the ANA Grading Standards book which will be a useful reference for you moving forward...
