Hmm, considering I just got 10 new notifications in the span of 2 minutes all from the same thread, I tend to agree with you to an extent, alternatively is there a way to turn off notifications for a thread you've posted in?

Click the gear icon in the upper right of the screen. (It is right under the word "coinflation.)
On the drop-down menu, click "edit profile".
On the "edit profile" menu, click "notification preferences".

Here is some random humor I saw this morning. A single no date Buffalo for the fire sale price of $1,000

    And it has a bid!

I always assumed these outlandish auctions that actually sell are a money laundering scheme. :*

Would you guys contribute, when appropriate, if I start a thread titled:
Official Whines Thread About Coin Ads and Coins For Sale? (Like
    Aspie_Rocco’s post above.)

I was shocked to see that bid too. The bidder also had zero feedback.

Here is one that ended minutes ago. Laundering or insane shill bids. $2,300 for an ms65 45 P ddr. Worth about $250. An ms66 can be had for around $600. Not sure why this 65 went to $2300+

I received double that in 1 day, almost daily - if we are talking about the same matter the OP posted about.
Its amazing some just don't get it, or simply don't care how they come across, let alone how much they annoy so many.
This is me being really patient and nonjudgmental.

Yep, same matter... I want to get notifications from most threads that I post in but there are some that I regret posting in because I get 40+ notifs per day from those 2 threads, it gets a little annoying wading thru my notifications trying to find the ones I am actually interested in... :confounded:

The most feasible option at this point is to turn off notifications for all threads I've posted in and just bookmark all the threads I want to receive follow-ups to... just more trouble.

I like having all threads available as an option but I don't want them forced upon me....

Yeah, but I can't choose certain thread titles to not receive notifications from, it's all or none, I'm specifically talking about threads I've posted in... unless I'm missing something here??

I am not sure if this one is what you are looking for but it applies to what you are asking but it is for all threads you have posted to and you mention choosing certain thread titles which is a no. You will still get them for your threads or if someone mentions you specifically by name or quote for a reply as those have their own lines to check.

Also don't forget to save the changes at the bottom.

What is the etiquette for posting randomly? I’ve been noticing a same poster posted almost up to a dozen times in a few minutes back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back 😩 Did you get my drift?
