Mercury dimes ddo

There were two Mercury dimes with ddo in a club auction tonight.
I could not find information on the Coinfacts site, not sure if anyone has another link.
1926-d and 1934. I don't have pictures. The 1934 had definite date doubling.

There are not any known DDOs for those dates. I’m guessing machine/mechanical doubling. If only machine doubling then they are unlikely to have any additional value. Of course, there can be rare exceptions if high grade mint state and they have an impressive spread.

Mechanical/strike doubling.
Good thing you saved your money

Looks as if your club could use a tutorial on doubling and doubled die coins.... Cheers, RickO
34-D or 34? There's a 34-D with a really cool and underappreciated doubled die obverse on the date.
"It's like God, Family, Country, except Sticker, Plastic, Coin."
1934-P, I definitely saw doubling on date.
.
probably shoulda pinged us while you were there. if they were legit ddos and discovery ones at that, not only do you get your foot into the door of numismatic immortality but probably 4-figure scores as well, if unc.
still probably high 3 figures if high circ grades.
As mentioned, none are known at present for those date-mm coins, but discoveries are possible.
A pretty complete list of known Mercury Dime DDOs is at:

Another is at:

But neither one has the 1934-D that @DelawareDoons showed.

They were both AU, thanks for the feedback. I'll see who has them and make an offer. They were around $20 each.
As others have said, you should be glad that you saved your money. Making an offer to the owner is not a well-considered idea.

any progress yet?
Once a month auction, I'll have to see if the owner can bring them next month. I emailed the head of the club twice and did not get anything coherent on the request yet.
