Why is the first coin a B while the second one is an A+? They both look spectacular.
Depth of mirrors, darkness of reverse and a tiny patch of striations (possibly as minted) in the right obverse field. The 1883 has none of those issues.
So nice to see something numismatic on the first page.

A very nice, well matched set!. Looking forward to seeing the set when complete - do you know where the possible "right" coins reside for the other dates?

No, I’ve been scrolling through auction archives and don’t really see any that match that aren’t locked up in a set somewhere. Will have to wait for some old time proof sets to come on the market

This is a B coin for the grade [yes, it stickered] but it matches the set very well
Whereas this is an A+ coin for the grade and I’m thrilled to add it to the set
Very cool set!
Stunning!
Nice adds Bruce, they fit right in!

Is the B coin for the grade really just a B for Bruce?!
That one just has a great look based on the image!

This is taking a matching set to a whole new level. Stunning.
Are there two 1880 coins or two different photos of the same coin?

Different coins. I really like the one that doesn’t match the set but I think I gotta go with the tissue toned one.
Changed the set name to “TDN’s Tissue Toners”

I could cut out a special slot for the 1873.
This reminds me of the song:

Oh I had to resist a strong urge to post a Carly Simon video of that song.

An amazing set, all 67's , can it get any better, doubt it. Toped off with eye peeling galore.
Beautiful set!
Do you have a TrueView for the 1879?

I'm not a fan of toning, but in this case the toning highlights the terrific strikes that all these pieces have.
Congrats on putting together such an amazing set.
