What did you get at ANA show?

So how is everyone doing? I'm back in OKC from the show and ready for "Show and Tell".
I only bought 1 coin from the bourse (actually it was at dinner, not the floor) but I managed to snag a couple of nice coins at the Sheridan Downey mail bid auction.
Tuesday night at the Bust Half Nut Club dinner...(By the way, guys, thanks for letting me attend.)
From the auction...(pics by Lance Keigwin)
Anyway, let's see what you got.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

Congratulations! There were some really nice halves in that auction.
Got this one from Doug Winter. Finally found a nice $3 gold piece for the type set.

I bought this just before the show but it counts as my show purchase (that’s what I told myself)
I got 2 pieces from the show.
First up, A nice walker in an OGH graded 63. Looks to be a 64 minimum and was cheap so I thought why not.
Second, a 1972 DDO in PCGS MS-65RB. This was given to me as a gift from the boss of an LCS after working there for the past few years with the last 3 days spent behind the table at a booth at the ANA. It has special meaning to me with the first tasks I did working there.

Nice Coin! It looks extremely conservatively graded to me but I would have to admit I always get the GTG wrong
They didn’t grade MS64 in 1984. It would go MS64 today.
You guys will see that I have a type. Lol.
I will be posting my show report here this weekend.

I won #s 30 and 67 in the auction (wasn’t there in person).

I located a 1954 Proof Cent to replace one that was awful in a Capitol holder set I have. Beyond that I was interested in an MS 64 1885 O Morgan (about as common a coin as there will ever be) but the seller wanted $140 for a $95 coin so I passed. I cannot buy coins at shows. I go for the displays and the eye candy.
OKB, I bet that '36 is magnificent in hand.
It is...I just wish I could take the pictures that it deserves.
If you didn't preview it then you're going to be really happy with that 1808. She's gorgeous.
Didn't go to the show, but I did win the 1824/4 in the auction mentioned above. So maybe from a distance?

I did find this 1955 1C DDO today, I’ve always wanted one of these coins. Couldn’t locate the 1921 Peace dollar in 64-65+ I was hoping to find, but a dealer did mention he has a nice one in the grade I’m seeking back at his store. I’ll follow up on that one for sure.
What a classic!
Congratulations.

I thought hard about bidding on that. It’s beautiful

Very cool! I'm guessing that Roger Decker is the one that runs the Tri-County Coin Club Coin Show?
Did not attend, got this from Sheridan's auction (Lance photos):
I posted this one in a different thread
Also bought this -- my only silver dollar purchase for the show
Then I got a nice door prize from Stack's/Bowers from their reception Thursday.
And got these, too. Slipped a bit in the grading contest. Tied for 9th. I congratulated the young woman picking up her 6th place prize when I was there (cf., threads referring to youth and women in the hobby).

Thanks @RichieURich ! The 1805/4 Wide Date has long been one of the most popular Draped Bust half dollars, Sheridan calls it "The glamour die marriage of 1805." At PCGS XF40 pop 1/1 CAC, this is one of the best for the "a" die stage, not the latest but enough of the retained triangular cud to make it cool. I had a F12 for 18 years, it took that long to find a higher grade example. Prices have been moving higher for the FH and DBH types, but the rarities have been soft in price, possibly because of three major collections being sold in the past year, and I was actually surprised to win this coin $2k less than it sold in 2008.
edit - the die marriage is 1805/4 O.103a and T-11. The obverse die was sunk from the updated mid-1805 hub, so it is probably a blundered die rather than an unused 1804 obverse die as on 1805/4 O.101 and 102.
1805/4...............make up your mind!!!!!!!!
Great coin!!!
I don’t own a draped bust…anything. I really wanted to bid on one of those too. They looked awesome!
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Again some very nice purchases. @Okbustchaser
With all your superior knowledge on the series, I’ve assumed all these years you were nuts. Seriously, always thought you were a BHNC member.
Just two coins for me, although there was a lot for me to buy in my area of collecting. I exercised great restraint.
I didn’t make it to the show, but I did manage to get Lot#91 at Mr. Downey’s auction.
I got 3 from Sheridan, should have been 4. I went hot and heavy for the 1820 but in the end somebody else had a bit deeper pocket. Next time.
Here are the 3 I picked up…
One of the prizes of the auction. Congrats.

WOW what a fun venue for all of you!
Thank you for sharing 🤗 love the eye candies
It was my favorite of the sale!
Congratulations on being the current caretaker.
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
More important what I did not get:
Covid.
A large number of folks that I would have met with did test positive.
That is why I did not attend, again.
Hopefully next year
