I don’t think a 2nd skin dark AU w/strike weakness would cross at 53 without a crackout. I also think a NGC fatty 53 is worth more than a PCGS 50 assuming neither CAC as JA doesn’t like dark or monotone for eye appeal even if the coin is all there.
This dollar was submitted with 4 other coins several of which had tremendous eye-appeal. Two of the five crossed, but this one did not. Below are Trueviews of one that did cross.
