Proof type One American Eagles special issue with no "W" mint mark, easy to handle no touch plastic cases ( magnet tool extra.)

Special reeded edges

Fast two week delivery time from' Cincinnati

Coins ten (10) ordered from a very good company, dow 30 , very helpful with refund, but ordered full filled by scam outfit.
Be Careful out there.

If you saw that eagle before buying...something looked off to me immediately. Glad you got a refund.

FYI: In 2008 the us mint changed the reverse of the eagle. The change stayed until the reverse was changed again last year.
Easiest way to determine the difference is to look at the “U”

Also, note in 2008 there were about 40,000 (I think?) of 2008 eagles with 2007 reverse.

@Soldi... Glad you got a refund.... They look 'off', I am sure that was your first clue... surprised it was magnetic, but good test anyway. Thanks for showing us... Cheers, RickO

I ordered 10 I got silver plated brass. At least yours were magnetic. Mine were terribly struck you could tell 10ft away they were fake. The sigma however, at the time called them good. LOL.

The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

I think people need to remind themselves that many of these retail platforms list stuff that is sold by unaffiliated third party companies.

It is becoming more and more common. That, and drop-shipping from third parties.

Conspiracy to commit fraud, and who is complicit ?

    Reads like a whodunnit saga.

Too bad the fbi is overwhelmed with political operatives. The people are at 100% risk, here. ( in the USA ). Thankfully you can get charges reversed on your credit "karma" card. Scamming in the name of "more for less".

True, but Walmart is the listed "Payee" on my credit card, no extra fees, any quantity, and it looks like I have to charge back the order. Please read again as I offered more info on the problem.

You make an excellent point, but Walmart has to stop "brokering" things they don't understand.

I could not agree more. And I'm not reading into anything except that obvious fraud is taking place in the marketplace.

    Ouch... what a hassle.

Think I will stick to the tried and true bullion dealers.

The Treasury Department would be very interested to investigate forgery counterfeiting of ASE's.
