Grading delay due to ANA?

Just curious if there might be a delay in grading due to the ANA show? Or if they tend to keep things on pace during large long shows like this?

I heard one TPG on Monday had lines 5 people deep with tons of coins to submit. People had suitcases full of coins (several hundred) they were submitting. Another TPG had hardly anyone at the table wanting to submit. One of those TPGs has had a lot of challenges and long delays for months so it seemed people were avoiding that one. I wonder if that snap shot in time continued on Monday and through Tuesday.

WIth both NGC and PCGS doing on-site grading, a significant portion of their capacity will be dedicated to the show. Also more senior people so they can handle high-value "walk-through" grading.

That's kinda what I suspected. Thanks.

I heard today there were about 22 people taking submissions at one TPG and they were all busy. The other TPG had about 4 people taking submissions and they were all busy.

“Business days” don’t include days grading at shows

Agreed, nor do weekends or holidays count as business days. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
So our annual Collectors Club Membership really consists of how many days annually?
I would expect that the use of graders at a show would impact throughput at the main facility. However, when turnaround is in weeks/months, a few days should not have a significant effect. Cheers, RickO
