The 2022 American liberty medal comes out on the 18th

kiyotekiyote Posts: 5,568 ✭✭✭✭✭

The gold version was far too expensive my taste but I can’t wait to pick up a silver one.

    I’m all about it.

The gold was lovely but pricey.

This is going to be a wonderful addition to our collection.

    Love the design 😉🙀🦫

The available mintage limit of 75,000 seems like a good guess.

The 2019 Liberty silver medal was a special 2.5-ounce medal and around 44,928 sold by July 2021, so maybe this one ounce can do more.

The 2021 $100 Liberty gold version of this design sold 12.470 in spite of it costing 40-50 times this silver versions price.

It is a fun design suitable for various interpretations.

It would make for an expensive pocket piece but I would love to see how it would look after 10 years of such use

I'll tell you what......Buy me one and I'll keep it in my pocket for 10 years. Then, after that, I'll send you a picture of it.

there are 8 on e bay right now for sale on a pre-sell, i would guess there will be several hundred for sale in the next few hours, if they sell out within 5 minutes, it's a more then likely a winner

It’s a nice looking coin. I think it would have been better without the sun. The style of the sun and horse don’t match at all and there’s no reason to have a sun there.

Not for me. Everytime I see the design the first thing that comes to mind is that someone threw firecrackers under that horse. Dance pony dance!

But certainly beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To those who enjoy the design... absolutely go for as many as you want/need!

Has anyone else ever got set to order to discover they don’t take PayPal on the day of release. I called em and they said that is their deal. Option for PayPal opens 24 hours later.
What the heck. They don’t mention that anywhere in their product list or payment options. I checked last night at11 and PayPal was there. Today gone.
I have so many words to say but they will just get me banned.
Carted one, maybe tomorrow. Dang it!! 🤨🙀🦫

34 minutes or less, where else can you get this kind of short-term inexpensive thrill/fun/frustration with coins?

I bought one at 12:00 and another one at 12:10 when the quantity remaining was dropping like flies. More than 41,000 medals available sold out in just over 30 minutes.
