Counterfeit 1895 CC Morgan

Seller was previously warned it was a counterfeit, even states that they have been warned but still trying to sell it.

Could we get some reports and this taken down?

Reported and rather scathing message sent to seller.

Edited to add: Seller replied, said he’d ended the listing and (surprisingly) thanked me.

  • So, what's the difference between this coin and a D. Carr fantasy piece?

This isn’t the only fake Morgan in his listings.

No one here fantasizes about owning a poorly made counterfiet.

    Listing was removed...

So, if Daniel Carr made one, it would be O.K. to buy, because it is high quality. I see that he has a bunch of fantasy Seated Liberty Dollars on his site right now!

So you're saying the only difference is that Dan Carr creates well- made counterfeits...

@BillJones... Thanks for the pictures... Listing was gone by the time I got to this post. Definitely a poorly made fake. Cheers, RickO
