Most people just start out trying to complete a set of Whitman folders. They are available in Barnes and Noble stores, hobby stores or you can buy them on line at numerous locations. Just start searching rolls and try to fill the album. Get a Redbook on US coins for info purposes and soon an aspect of what and how you want to collect will come along. Starting out with little investment means you will not lose much if you decide its not what you want to do.
