The weight tolerances for a US Cent is 3.11 grams +/- 0.13 , so your coin is slightly heavy by 0.08 gms. Most likely struck on a thick planchet. Interesting, but it is only out of spec by a minor amount, so there would very little if any premium

I disagree this is the 2nd post on the front by this user both pertaining to weight of Wheaties.
This is in line to the abundance of posters doing the exact same damn thing. I think it is EXACTLY what is called for. This posters are not doing any of their own research they just come in her with WAGS for variances and in many cases the variances are within mint limits.
