🤗 Any shiny Modern to share?🥰

How do you feel about Modern?
🥰 I like them because I do …. and I am not expecting any substantial increase on their value ☺️
They are merely just pretty coin worth the spot.

Modern can be just as beautiful as classic. I tend to prefer the international flavor of modern, like this turtle:
US is awesome too, especially with some nice colors:

I find it hard to get excited by modern commems unless they are toned like this one from Stefanie:

This is the shinniest one I own

Modcrewman.
The photos of your 1965 half dollars show the coins very well. The first/top photo shows a coin that has a better appearance than the other three coins. It has better quality obverse fields. The other three coins show obverse fields that appear to have flaws.
Do the fields of the coins, in hand, appear as they do in the photos? If so, I have a suspicion that the coins will likely not receive a DCAM designation because the fields (as they appear in the photos) are impaired (this happened to my best 1965 SMS half dollar that graded MS66CAM last year; it has DCAM level frost but impaired fields).
The obverse devices of the 1965 half dollars shown in your photos are of very high quality. They have few, if any, flaws.
Some day I will pick up a reverse proof Buffalo. Its 1 missing in my collection as I didnt really care for rev proof when they came out (nor had the coin to acquire one probably). They do look much better in person, and the type of coin has grown on me.
(Another on my pipe dream list is the V75 Gold Eagle proof.)
I suppose most of what I have would be considered "Modern"; starting with the '76 silver proof set, proof gold and silver thru the '80s, then the proof Silver / Gold Eagles and Buffalo.
I started with Indian Head Cents, silver Merc / Roos dimes, Buffalo nickles, Wheat cents, etc as a kid - probably found in change way back in the 70s? With a smattering of V nickles, and silver Franklin / Kennedy halves in there too. But I started purchasing shiny US Mint proof precious metals once I had a job and a few $$$s.
Its funny what can accumulate over 4.5 decades or so.

Thanks! These are two of my favs even though the grades fell short. Found in the same hoard they are so reflective they could be used as bicycle reflectors. Turns out there's more to grading than just doing cartwheels
My Wide AM isn't so shinny, Sorry Paradise

@Coinscratch I have more than one roll of mint bright red 1988-D that is bound to have an MS66 or 67, but I have no luck with grading
Wow! Great clash on that Kennedy @jt88! 👍🏻
