🤗 1918 “Warpaint” Buffalo as my NEWP

A unique toned Buff to join my young herd 🤔 it reminded me of the wood grain

Soft on his braids to almost non existing ties as well as the tail but the horn looks good.
Higher grade is preferred of course but the war painted face trumps it all for me ☺️

    I like the toning. The 1918 is one of the tougher Philadelphia dates. Enjoy it!

    Great looking Buff, the blue streaks really jump out and make a nice contrast with the other colors. The one I have just has the brown-orange streaks with the "layered sandstone" look. Neat coins to collect

    Wow you bought a buffalo nickel! How cool is that? I normally don’t like streaking buffalo nickels but this one looks pretty good. Congratulations 👍

    reminds me of the echo cliffs in arizona. They are found in Coconino County in the Navajo Nation about 20 miles (32 km) east of Grand Canyon National Park.
