The slab is not the problem, your lighting is very harsh and highlights all the slab imperfections and lights the coin in a less than flattering way. I'm not ragging on your photo skills just noting what I observe as I view your photos. I suspect that the coin is nicer in hand and congrats on your new addition.

They're both problems. Polish the slab and soften the lights. Looks like it's VAM 19.

While I agree that polishing the slab is a good idea it is not a requirement or as big an issue as the lighting. There are ways around that with the use of a light oil to make those scratches almost invisible to the lens.
Great coin. Clean the slab with scratch remover, not sure the brand name. I believe you wouldn't want to pay to reslab, unless you wish to change slabs. I used to have quite a few PL, CAM and DCAM Morgans until people started liking them and price went out of site. Nothing much prettier in silver than those. Congrats.

The slab scratches are hiding the beauty of the coin. Must be nice in hand.
she does look like a beauty! these are challenging to photo and i bet she really pops in hand!
Love the coin - not a fan of the slab
i might try a light simichrome on it which hopefully will help that a little bit.
They dont come around all that often. Very fair price.
i will reslab if I have to...total pcgs/ngc pops are 290 with 38 higher. I think it reps nice value.
