I’m in the Xf details camp, looks like 45 meat but hairlines and the reverse scratch probably kept it a genny.….but I’m also guessing this is slated to be cracked and put into an album, and that the price was right for what it is.
I disagree with the harshly cleaned comments. Fully original? No, probably not. Harshly cleaned? Certainly doesn't appear to be from these eyes. The picture is a little overexposed probably, which doesn't help.
I think I'd say EF40, maybe EF45, with a little fear that the cut on the reverse (from the O in OF down along the leaves) might detail it.

While the coin looks cleaned, my guess is not too heavily so (or the reverse scratch bad enough) to preclude a straight grade of XF40. My guess, notwithstanding, a details grade wouldn’t surprise me.

Doc, I feel it to be a nice 45 but with a cleaned look. Enlarged the hairlines do not look as bad. The scratch on the reverse doesn't bother me at all. I would feel it would still grade at NGC not so sure at PCGS.

Lots of great guesses! Most people guessed details correctly. I wonder if the key date/semi key date aspect gave it a pass to AU. Priced right in the lower VF range, it is probably destined for an album. Good job @Walkerguy21D

I believe that grade to be correct. Too bad it's been cleaned.
