Hello! I found a dot under the date of a 1999 Lincoln memorial penny and I was wondering if it had any value? Thanks to anyone who can help! https://photos.app.goo.gl/26Kfqiw3Ev5rFo3XA

Your picture shows a coin that is heavily damaged. Whether or not there was also a mint error, the damage wins, It will never be worth more than 1c. Spend it.

The dot below the date and other spots are due to zinc corroding underneath the copper plating

How do you look at that and think...
This disfigured coin has excessive PMD but this one particular area of damage could make it worth something?
    How do you get there?

    Just wondering

It signals the end of the world. If the world didn't end, then it's PMD.

@metheotherperson ... Welcome aboard. Your cent appears to have either zinc rot below the plating or possibly a random die chip. Either way, there is no numismatic premium. Cheers, RickO
