Upcoming Long Beach show 06/30 - 07/02, who's going?
Long Beach show is coming up soon, haven't been in a show since pandemic and this time I will be attending.
I'm local here in Long Beach so I was thinking of trying to find a buyer for the following coins.
Maybe this should be posted in BST but I'm kinda nervous shipping for the items unless I get paid first (I'm sure buyer feels the same way - ship first and pay later)
Any way these are duplicates and taking much space and gathering dust and will soon sell off my collections while I still can (kids not interested in my collections).
2011 $1 American Eagle Silver 25th Anniversary 5 coin set, there are 3 sets in one (1) sealed box (15 coins total)
2012 $1 American Eagle Silver San Francisco Proof/Reverse Proof 2 coin set 1 sealed box
2013 $1 American Eagle Silver West Point Proof/Reverse Proof 2 coins set 2 sealed box
2009 Abraham Lincoln Coin & Chronicle set 2 sealed box
2021 $1 Morgan "O" Privy mark 3 coins available
2021 $1 Morgan "CC" Privy mark 3 coins available
2021 $1 Morgan S 2 coins available
2021 $1 Morgan D 2 coins available
2021 $1 Morgan P 2 coins available
Any advice out there if I should sell the whole collection in one deal or break it down. I've been collecting since around 1984.
I think it would be hard for me to sell it individually as it would take a lot of time. Are those dealer in CoinWorld advertisement offering to buy the whole collection any good?
I apologize for the long message. If any is interested, I'll be at the show on Thursday looking for buyer of the coins mentioned above.
Thanks.

The above should have been posted on the BST section of this site.
Have been ill. If this continues, I won't be attending.

"Sou Mangueira......."
@Knell ...Good luck with your sales - you should also post this on the BST. Be sure to give us a show report on Long Beach. Cheers, RickO
Way too far for me.
Been attending since first show in 1964. Went through all its iterations.
It's a shadow of what it once was. It is gradually waning. PSA card /sports precence is growing.
Many former dealers not attending, passed away, or don't like California nexus laws. NGC/PMG no longer there.
To many competive shows this time a year around the country. Dealers not coming to california
As those shows are closer to home. Material is thin and not available enough to support all the lookers.
Prices are always high. World coin dealers tables are the most busy early on.
I go just to enjoy the experience. No expectations to find anything. Way to many competitive collectors looking for what I am looking for. Sometimes I get lucky.
Great show, but I can’t make this one. Have a great time, and be sure and post a show report.
Dave
Thanks for the comments to all. I wasn't planning to post on BST because not planning to sell on BST due to shipping hassle, but I will post in BST just in case someone knows a dealer who will be at the show and will be buying AES.
I'll be going to my first one with a short shopping list. Wife in tow so probably short on time also...
Chris and Tom from Northeast Numismatics will be at Long Beach. I have bought many coins from them and sold some too. Very honest to deal with.
Table C623 from their website. Best of luck. Might be worth giving them a try.

I'm going. Was really excited too, but less so after reading this glowing review.
Was thinking of taking a few coins to upgrade and trade up. Anyone bring coins to big shows, or just better to sell whatever you upgrade after you get home?
I went in February and had a great time.
Not able to go to this time. Still waiting for the completion and return of 3 of 9 submission I made in February and early March.
Look forward to reading show reports.
I will be there on Thursday and Friday.
Submitted 7 coins at the February LB Show. Just got them back a week ago
4 months!! wait time. UGH!!
I have never found a direct dealer sale to be satisfying. They usually try to buy you off low and you give in to be done with it. I have regretted every one I have done.
Been mostly happy with auction consignments. I save up till I have a good grouping (1/2 box or full Box of 20 or more)
if you have slabs consign to an auction/ house Great collections , Stacks Bowers or Heritage.
I sell slabs of PCGS, NGC, ANACS. all have sold .
Have got my price on a few Direct private collector sales. Especially if you are specialized and Know your fellow collectors in your specialized community.
