Picked up an incredible 1964 proof set in OGP a few weeks back with these beauties in it. Truly the most vivid and even color I've ever seen out of OGP.
anyone here care to take a guess? it is still pretty far off the beaten path and i don't recall the last time one was discussed on the forum and if it has, i missed it.
edited to add. just checked pcgs pops, only 4 after all this time. W O W
edited to re-add, the 1948-s/s/s/s 25c i was the first to submit to pcgs and attain the fs-501 designation is still only at 4 as well. W O W
for those of you that haven't seen that mess of a mm RPM, you ought to look it up sometime. the spread on a couple of the mm punches is pretty comical. it was kinda like the person was jumping around while doing it. hehe
sadly, i haven't found my images which were pretty stellar to show all 4 of the punches pretty well. there seems to be a time period around that time where i lost MANY amazing images/pups.
I happen to have great love for blue toned coins. The ones you’re showing are sure no exception.
VERY nice my coin brother👌

Woah, that dime is something special. I’ve never seen anything like that out of a proof set from this era. I like it!

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Gorgeous dime.
Given grade results I have received on similar proofs I have recently submitted, be prepared for the dime not receiving a Cameo or a DCAM designation.
That light to medium blue is unusual when alone, like on the dime. The half has some additional tarnish... Cheers, RickO
Here ya go, I am blue too!
Me too!
Can't get much more blue than this.

I l8ve the looks of that dime
If the pictures are accurate, I’d be shocked if that dime failed to receive one of those two designations.
