vg 8/10?
G-04?
A VG-8 with environmental damage.

Good 6
I would give it a technical grade of Good-6 but it is sorely lacking eye appeal.

Late die state so probably a better "technical grade" than many are guessing. Maybe VG8?
Probably looks better in hand than these images (maybe I'm wrong??) which seem VERY washed out and overexposed.

Here is the slab in which this coin now reposes.
Hard for me to believe the grade on the holder for sure!
just seems way to weak for this grade

They are judging their grade based on the amount of visible horn, which is around F-12 on the coin. The date is also full.
I knocked a little off my guess because it is just so darn ugly.

It’s in an ICG holder so all bets are off. I’m late to the party but I too would have graded it G-4. No way ICG got this one right. F-15 is laughable.
Those images are way overexposed. Here it is after just a quick open and auto-level.

The reverse

I'm betting it looks much more like this than those other pictures

But Ugly either way and should be in a details holder!
What would be the reason for a detail holder? Cleaning? Environmental damage? or??

At least both from the picture!
I know where I'm sending my overdate Buff's !
Late to the party but was thinking good 4 and ugly.
