New Lovely common date Morgan.

Picked this common up yesterday but it looks better than 65's I have seen.

Will submit for CACage or crack upon rcpt. Maybe just hope for a gold bean.

@Rondor .... Nice Morgan... Looks like a fair amount of cheek/neck chatter, not much field issues... Cheers, RickO

The coin looks fine for the assigned grade, but the luster appears to be somewhat subdued. That and the contact marks on the cheek and jaw probably prevented a higher grade.

@MFeld I will bring it by at the Long Beach show and let you take a look. The cheek chatter looks better than the pic. Anyway, would be a good way to say hello.

    Hope you're there!

Sorry, I won’t be there or I’d be happy to say hello and review the coin with you.

Very nice for the grade! PQ, could upgrade with a nice bump up in value at the gem level. Solid coin.

A very nice 64 and none of the marks are a huge distraction in my opinion. There is nothing on the coin that would be so distracting that it would motivate me to spend 2x - 3x more for a 65.

A nice 64, not so common date IMO. I was expecting an 81-S :D

After having received the coin it looks so close to a 65 that I am surprised it didnt +. I am not a genius but it would shock me if it doesn't at least CAC green. I know we fall in love with our coins so we shall see.

If this is a 64+ CAC I have a shot.

Rock solid 64, should be a 65 or+ at least (IMHO)

Really nice piece you got, I personally would leave it in the holder but def attempt to bean it.
    I would not crack it.

    Beautiful, high end looking coin!

Solid 64. Big price jump at 65. Not enough mark-free expanse on the cheek for a higher grade, I'm thinking. The whole cheek doesn't have to be mark-free, but there needs to be a big chunk that is really clean. Compare yours with the typical 65s on CoinFacts and you'll see what I mean. There are a couple low-end 65s that have more marks on them. They're low-end.

It’s a great looking Morgan for the grade. Looks pretty damn good from here.
    Great addition 👌
